Keep a Girl child in school project

Every year, we run a campaign to mobilize menstrual pads for girls in Kasese. It should be noted that, getting or affording a pad is not easy for most parents in Kasese. Most girls resort to using leaves, paper, dung, filthy cloth pieces etc, these have resulted to a wider spread of diseases however. Its crystal clear in Rwenzori region that most girls have dropped out of school due to fear of how they will look in class with blood stains due to lack of pads. We therefore run campaigns to mobilize money and physical pads which we later supply to girls in school. These have never been enough though.
